Tip of the Tongue (2021) is inspired by the many such moments that I have had: the moment where the connection between the mind and the mouth, or the mind and the body for that matter, is completely and suddenly severed. What also really fascinated me was the cyclical nature of these moments—it comes back when you least expect it—and as someone who is bilingual and an international student, the frustration and anger that I feel for myself exponentially increases each time.
